Decision fatigue, it’s a real thing.
Have you ever gone through the entire day and at the end you just feel drained?
What about when you go out with friends and they ask you where you want to go, and you basically couldn’t care less because you would just rather someone else decide for you.
I get like that a lot.
When we’re making decisions on a day to day basis, no matter how small, it takes energy, time and focus.
Eventually you get to the point where that decision battery has worn down, kind of like your mobile phone. You need to recharge it.
Decision fatigue–>Less will power–>More likely to make “not so great” choices with food or working out (aka not going).
There’s a great lesson in Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs having only one “uniform” that they wore. For Zuckerberg it is a black t-shirt, hoodie and jeans. For Steve Jobs it’s the black sweater and jeans.
Why did they do this?
It was one less decision they had to make in a slew of them throughout their day.
They focused their energy-mental and physical- on the stuff that mattered.
Are you able to do that in your life, or are you finding yourself drained by decisions and skipping out on the important stuff?
What if you had a time and a place that took care of the decision of training and working out for you?
