A friend of mine posted a link the other day on the old Facebook about a Personal Trainer in the UK who now holds nude training sessions.
I usually skip over articles and mindless stuff on FB but I couldn’t resist.
The idea of people being naked, whatever. That’s no problem for me…. but what really annoyed me was the women’s reason for starting it.
Someone asked her if she ever did it, she looked into it and saw there was nothing like it, so she started it.
I get that you’re trying to stand out and differentiate yourself, but that’s the problem with fitness these days.
It scares people off (not just cause you’d be naked, LOL).
There are too many choices.
And of course, naked training…….
But how is someone to know what is right for them?
It’s no wonder you’re jumping from thing to thing, or just trying classes at the local gym that don’t really personalize anything.
I’m not here to tell you what’s right for you, but I will tell you what happens with 99% of my clients.
They come to me because they’ve tried a lot of stuff.
They’ve either done classes at the gym, tried to do their own gym routine, done CrossFit and maybe it was a little too intense…and then they feel lost.
Nothing really “works” because they didn’t find the right thing to stay consistent with.
What’s the best kind of exercise? The one you can stick to consistently, make progress from week to week (aka adding weight, doing more reps etc) – by the way, that’s something a coach would help you out with.
Have you been trying it on your own for a while? Or maybe just given up….
That’s okay. I get it.
That’s why I’m taking on a few more clients.
Exercise and Nutrition does NOT have to be a struggle. It doesn’t have to be off the wall like the naked lady, but it can be actually quite fun.
